garbage disposal management process occurs in malaysia
The amount of waste generated by the Malaysian population covers the estimated 30,000 tonnes of waste per day and while only 5 percent of them are recycled.
Two average statistics of information obtained recently were informed by the Ministry of Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government, saying that the increase in dumping of waste is daily on the basis of the formation of irregular solid wastes resulting in extraordinary soil and air pollution included health and congestion problems economic growth can cause major problems for Malaysia.
Local and national governments took 10 years from 2003 to 2013 to try to overcome the problem of increasing the waste by entering into garbage disposal sites, while some of them about 42 percent of the total municipal solid waste generation (MSW) in Malaysia were burned. Two percent recycled, causing the remaining 56 percent to be thrown into the landfill by open pit. This method is fast and inexpensive. But the change has made the process extremely difficult due to the fact that municipal solid waste generation (MSW) in Malaysia increased by more than 91 percent to dispose of this solid waste, 85 percent has reached full capacity and will be expected to close in the next few years. More worsening is that Malaysia is facing difficulty finding suitable landfill sites and difficult to obtain permits.
It can be hazardous If rubbish at landfill sites exceeds the uncontrolled limits and fails to manage well will result in soil contamination with the flow of liquids from the junk to the underground or flowing into the creeks, air pollution through the burning of garbage also causes the disease to spread through birds, mice and insects and an unpleasant smell.
Recently we have received news of illegal waste disposal activities located in klang.

The site of illegal landfills is not properly maintained.

The main source of solid waste failed to control is the population of this country lacking public awareness and environmental education. Yet since 1988, various programs have been organized such as annual awareness programs, public forums, conduct recycling campaigns at least 1 percent of waste daily and provide recycling bins. However, they did not take advantage of the facilities that were provided but were misused and were found to contain 40-60 percent of the items could not be recycled.
A New Policy for Waste Management in Malaysia
The Government has re-established the importance of recycling nowadays despite the failure of the past by setting up various awareness-raising awareness programs and penalties for those who do not comply with the prescribed laws. Today, legislation on recycling appears to be quite serious in Malaysia.
Among those that have just been enforced, it is called a mandatory waste separation program, the legal act focuses on Malaysians to separate recyclables from garbage. the collectors will do the rest.
My fullest hope, with strict law enforcement, can provide the fullest awareness of the surrounding people in Malaysia as it pertains to the management of solid waste from garbage sorting houses to facilitate a further process when delivering to landfills, reusable materials already filtered during the recycling process makes it easier to save time for the disposal of solid waste that is not being used anymore. But is it possible that with this law enforcement can last a long time to educate people in this country as it has been a few years before, it is hard to get a full response or vice versa? The question is, whether now or in the future with the increase in population in this country, is it able to reduce the number of solid waste dumps? or is it really a recycling technology in the country far out of date?
